Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) Policy

Policy Statement

LPCUWC is the seventh member of the 18 UWC Schools and Colleges, with the mission to use education as a powerful force to unite people, nations, and cultures for peace and a sustainable future. As a movement we strive to foster a community where every member feels safe and secure, and where their authentic selves and unique differences are embraced with respect and care.

We are dedicated to critically examining our structures, processes, and systems to confront inequity and harm. Our goal is to promote cultural shifts that center marginalized voices and ensure fair treatment for everyone, regardless of their identity or status.

We recognize that Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) is an ongoing and evolving journey, with community members at various stages along the way. Our commitment to creating a sense of belonging for all is a fundamental aspect of our JEDI efforts.
